The Casimir Lewy Library is the primary source of printed and electronic material needed for the study and teaching of philosophy and related subjects in Cambridge.
The Library is named after Casimir Lewy (1919-1991), University Reader and fellow of Trinity College. He was an inspirational teacher, whose passion for clear thinking and logical rigour still echoes through the Faculty. Many of his former students contributed generously to the fund for the refurbishment of the Faculty in his memory.
