Renewing your books

To renew items online. Login to your Library account as above. Check the box to the left of each item that you wish to renew, the click on Renew items. The new duedate of the items can be found in the Status column.

The total number of renewals on a single item is three. After you have renewed a book three times you will need to return it to the Library and have it discharged from your card. You may then have it re-issued to you.

Please remember that you will be unable to renew a book if:

  • It is already overdue - Please note that an item will become overdue after 6.00 p.m. (Full Term) on the day it is due (Weekdays) and after 5.00 p.m. (Saturdays, Full Term).
  • You have already renewed the book three times.
  • You have outstanding fines or replacement book charges.
  • It has been requested by another borrower.

Please remember that if you are trying to renew your books online you should always give yourself sufficient time to return them to the Library if, for any of the reasons listed above, you are unsuccessful in your attempts to renew them. Failure to do so will result in fines being charged.
