Faculty of Philosophy

 Bikes in a row

Here you will find information about Part 1A of the Philosophy Tripos: the Student Handbook contains useful background information about studying philosophy in Cambridge.

The Guide to Courses (including Syllabus) gives an outline summary of the entire Philosophy Tripos. If you have a question about the structure of your course, you should look here first.

The Lecture List outlines all the philosophy lectures for the coming year, in a downloadable PDF. The University Timetable allows you to construct your own online timetable.

Reading lists, discussion group readings and handouts for your lectures and course readings may also be found here; please note that some lecturers prefer to upload handouts to their own websites.

You can also find information about student support and feedback, and important dates in the Faculty's year.

Finally, it may not be too early to think about what to do after your degree.
