Schmilosophy is an informal reading group dedicated to reading works outside, or at an angle to, the analytic mainstream. Undergraduates are extremely welcome, indeed the primary audience.

Meetings take place on Saturdays in term time in the Garden Room of Robinson College. The official meeting is from 1130 – 1230 but participants are welcome to arrive earlier for coffee from 1100 onward, and to stay for informal conversation until 1300.

In Michaelmas Term 2018, 'Schmilosophy' will be devoted to works by, or that inspired or were inspired by, Richard Wollheim (1923–2003), a philosopher of unusual breath and depth who wrote about socialism, the visual arts and Freudian psychoanalysis. A full programme and list of readings may be found here:
