Faculty of Philosophy

Dr Casimir Lewy (1919-1991) spent more than 30 years at Cambridge University as a lecturer in moral science (philosophy) and as a Fellow of Trinity College. In 1985 Exercises in Analysis, which included papers by nine of his former students, was published as a token of their gratitude. The Faculty Library was also named in his honour in 2000.

Two of his former students, Prof Simon Blackburn and Prof Edward Craig will share their memories of Dr Lewy to celebrate his life and work.

This event is for invited guests only.

Recordings and slides of the talks given at the event can be found here.
