Lent Term 2024
The Feminist Philosophy Reading Group will be continuing this term. We meet on Wednesdays at 2pm in the Postgraduate Common Room and everyone is welcome to join!
We will begin this term by reading Kate Manne's forthcoming work Unshrinking, due to be published next January. Kate has kindly agreed to us reading her book pre-publication and she will join us via Zoom on our last meeting.
The Feminist Philosophy Reading Group usually reads new book-length work in feminist philosophy. In the past, we looked at Amia Srinivasan's The Right to Sex, Katharine Jenkins' Ontology and Oppression, Kate Manne's Entitled, Mari Mikkola's forthcoming work 'dissident theorising', and Clare Chambers' The Unmodified Body.
