Faculty of Philosophy

 

Prospective Undergraduates.

    The Philosophy Faculty will be taking part in the University-wide days on the 4th and 5th of July 2024.
    The Faculty has very limited space and will only be open from 10.00 to 15.00pm on the above dates.  ​​​​​​
    The following events will be offered but space will be limited to prospective students only. Booking will be essential. 
     
    • Library Tours *
    • Faculty Question and Answers
    • Introduction to the Philosophy Degree by the Undergraduate Co-ordinator. (Syllabus, assessment of how it all works!)
    • Sample Lecture
    • At the same time as the Introduction to the Philosophy Degree we will take Q and A's from parents.
    • Booking Links for these events will be available from the 24th of April 2024. 
     
     
  • Some suggested preliminary readings for those interested in studying philosophy are available via Reading Lists Online (with links to readings freely available online) or as a PDF or Word document.
  • Frequently asked questions (mostly about admissions) 

* Brief library & Faculty tours, taking place on the hour between 10am-3pm and lasting approx. 15 minutes, will start at the Information Stand in room 4 of the lecture block. Booking for each tour is required due to the limit on numbers. At peak times, potential students will take priority. Please see the below QR code for more information and to book a place.
