The Faculty of Philosophy is aware of a recent blog post by Dr. Nathan Cofnas and the negative impact that it is having on some of our students. The Faculty recognises the importance of upholding academic freedom and freedom of speech within the law, but remains resolutely committed to eliminating racism and unlawful discrimination of all kinds. We also wish to affirm our commitment to supporting our students in this difficult time, and in particular, to promoting a respectful and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all of our students.
