The Faculty of Philosophy at Cambridge is organising an event for Philosophy and Religious Studies A-Level students. The aim is to present students with talks by lecturers about different areas of philosophy with an aim of stimulating interest in philosophy, helping them out with material related to the A-Level course, and also giving them a taste of what studying philosophy at university is like.
The talks will be on areas roughly corresponding to the AQA Philosophy syllabus, but it will be of interest to any student taking similar courses. The schedule is not yet confirmed, but we plan to have talks on knowledge, ethics, God, and the mind. The event will be all day, and last from 10am to 4pm.
The deadline for registration of interest is 15th February 2025.
