The conference entitled "How Universal are Universals?" will take place in Boys Smith Room, St John's College, Saturday 26th April (9 am - 6.15 pm) and Sunday 27th April (9 am - 1 pm).

Michael Potter will give his inaugural lecture as Professor of Logic.
The workshop will comprise three talks with discussion.
Professor Matthew Kramer (Cambridge) 'Some Remarks on Cases of Desperation' (Chaired by Professor Rae Langton).
Professor Alex Oliver gives the Mind Senior Research Fellow Lecture. This lecture explores reasons to talk about nothing, suggesting two quite different ways to do it, both used in the common saying ‘nothing comes from nothing’.
