Lia Nordmann has received Newnham's Wood-Whistler Scholarship 2023-24 for her paper "Disability and Teleology: Aristotelian Problems in Korsgaard's Kantian Animal Ethics

Lia Nordmann has been chosen to receive Newnham's Wood-Whistler Scholarship 2023-24 for her work submitted: "Disability and Teleology: Aristotelian Problems in Korsgaard's Kantian Animal Ethics", which the assessors deemed to be an excellent piece of work. Lia will receive a medal and a £3,000 scholarship.

The Faculty of Philosophy is looking forward to welcoming Jo Farmer as the new Faculty Manager from June 2024. Jo is currently the University’s Language Centre Administrator. She has been supporting the Faculty on a part-time basis over the last months and we are delighted that she will join us full-time from June.
